Rain Man review

In this film the two main actors are Tom Cruise (Charlie) and Dustin Hoffman (Raymond). The movie is about how two brothers are reconnected after their father dies. Raymond has autism and Charlie takes him across America. Over this period of time Charlie changes his opinion of his brother because he gets to know Raymond. Charlie realizes that Raymond has a special ability with numbers so Charlie uses that as an advantage for gambling. While Charlie is so called ‘using’ Raymond, Charlie becomes fond of Raymond’s personality and insists that he come out to live with him in LA.

The good thing about the movie is how they made the character, Charlie, change his attitude towards Raymond by getting to know him. In addition the acting coming from Dustin Hoffman is brilliant as he plays Raymond, the man with autism. The bad thing about the movie is that the movie length is to long, but you wouldn’t be able to explain the movie if it were any shorter. I would give the acting 5/5 stars but the movie overall I would give 4/5.
