Men,Women and Children review
In this movie there are many main characters and some are
big stars (e.g.: Adam Sandler, Jennifer Garner, Rosemarie Dewitt, Judy Greer,
Ansel Elgort and Dean Norris). The movie is about how parents view their
teenager’s lives.
Throughout the movie you see many different families and how
their teenagers behave on social media. Each family treats their teenagers
differently, some want to protect them from social media and others trust what
they’re doing. The main story line is to teach parents not to give teenagers such
a hard time about social media. It also shows parents trying to understand how
the internet is changing everyone’s lives, not just the younger generation. The
movie shows all types of extremes with the internet for example, some people
aren’t who they say they are: so you may think you’re talking to a 20 year old
man, but actually you’re talking to a 50 year old woman.
The good thing about the movie is that it provides parents with
an insight into today’s world of social media. The bad thing is that because it
is a comedy you have to have a certain personality to find the movie funny. In my
opinion I didn’t find the film funny and I thought that it stereotyped
teenagers. I would give the acting 3/5 stars but the movie overall 1/5.
